History |
The car started life as an Avenger rally car, but after various excursions
off the road (including a roll over) it was reshelled in a Sunbeam.
More importantly it got re-registered as a Sunbeam, so if you note the
reg no, it is a 1971 Sunbeam. This has to be original! but the biggest
benefit is it is road tax exempt. The car is road legal and runs in the
road modified class for Hillclimbs and Sprints, mainly around the midlands. |
Engine |
currently running a 1600cc Talbot engine, with flat top pistons,
big valve head, lightened and balanced, full race cam on twin 45 Dellorto's.
However, it did have a rather special, highly modified 2000cc Brazilian
in untill I blew it up on the first run of the season this year. Currently
considering a 1700cc project for next year. |
